Following her day out at the tennis with sister-in-law Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the men’s singles final at Wimbledon today, accompanied by her husband Prince William.
The pair arrived at the All England Court around midday, and met with former Wimbledon champions before heading to the royal box to watch Novak Djokovic take on Kevin Anderson.
After wearing a polka dot tea dress by go-to designer Jenny Packham yesterday, the Duchess opted for a sunshine yellow dress by Italian label Dolce & Gabbana, in a simple shift shape with flared short sleeves: perhaps further proof that the vibrant shade (which has been dubbed Gen Z yellow) is the colour of the season. Like yesterday, she carried a frame handbag in a light hue.
Though Kate's yellow dress has predictably garnered comparisons with the sunny Brandon Maxwell shift worn by her sister-in-law at a royal engagement earlier this month, the Duchess has worn the shade a number of times before: remember the bold Roksanda shift which she wore for a visit to Wimbledon back in 2016?
While Kate is still officially on maternity leave following the birth of her third child Prince Louis, she has recently made a number of high-profile appearances, attending the RAF centenary service earlier this week and the Trooping the Colour celebrations last month.
Yesterday, Kate and her sister-in-law Meghan watched as Angelique Kerber defeated Serena Williams in straight sets on centre court, in their first official outing as a royal duo.
