If, like us, you’ve missed Prince George and Princess Charlotte on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s most recent royal tour in Scandinavia, we’ve got just the thing for you.
Yesterday, the Cambridges met with the two young heirs to the Swedish throne, one-year-old Prince Oscar and five-year-old Princess Estelle, the children of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel (You might remember them from their adorable wintery-themed Christmas card, which saw Estelle throwing a snowball at the camera). The two families met for tea at Haga Palace in Solna.
It was something of a family reunion, as the young Swedes are related to Prince William through Queen Victoria. They are fifth cousins of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, too.
The meeting came after the Cambridges had spent two days seeing some of Sweden's attractions, as well as attending a dinner at the Swedish ambassador's residence with Alicia Vikander. While there, the Duchess of Cambridge won fashion plaudits for her chic chartreuse and blue Erdem gown.
The royals have now left Sweden for Norway, the second league of their trip. After touching down in Oslo they were met by Crown Prince Hakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit in the snow, with the weather forcing them to change their plans last minute.
