Hi, I’m Alyss and I’m addicted to sugar. No joke, yesterday I polished off a doughnut and a family-sized bag of Revels. Apparently I’m not alone in this sugar addiction, Karlie Kloss is trying to curb her cravings too. Well I never.

Supermodel-turned-business-woman Karlie Kloss spoke to *Vogue US*about her solution to cut down on sugar. Stating that she is: ‘being super-disciplined about trying to cut down on sugar. I’ve been trying to satisfy my sweet tooth in a more healthy, wholesome way.’ Haven’t we all Karlie.

So, how does Karlie banish that sweet tooth? What’s her secret method? My friends, introducing the smoothie that will cost you exactly £144.13 to buy up all the ingredients.

Here's Karlie’s very spenny ingredients list:

1 serving Moon Juice Deep Chocolate Protein. This is essentially protein powder with a fancy name, it costs $35 dollars for a tub. That’s £29.06.

1 T almond butter. Karlie probably uses fancy almond butter, cause why not? We all love a bit of fancy almond butter. I’ve substituted this in for a jar of Meridian nut butter, £2.95.

3 heaping T Moon Juice Tocotrienols. Sorry what now? According to the Moon Juice website this is derived from organic California rice and is super concentrated source of vitamins e, D and antioxidants. It costs $18, or £14.94.

1 tsp. Moon Juice Cordyceps. Ah yes, cordyceps…that familiar food we all know and love. Or not. Moon Juices Cordyceps are adaptogenic energy mushroom that increase cellular oxygen absorption and boost the immune system. Costing $35/£29.06.

1/4 tsp Moon Juice Pearl. WHAT ARE THESE THINGS? This one is apparently for your skin - the reviews say it makes your skin ‘glow,’ which I’m all for. But please can we just see some kale or honey in this smoothie. Pearl costs a not-so-cheap $40 - £33.21 for all you Brits.

1 T Moon Juice Brain Dust. Like come on seriously? I’m sorry but this smoothie isn’t a scientific experiment - who has time to scoop out all these powders every morning. Brain dust helps to ‘align you with the nightly cosmic flow needed for great achievement.’ I’m done. It costs $30, so £24.91.

Then pour some almond milk all over that - perhaps Alpo Almond milkas it only costs £1.70 and you’re now poor after ordering half the Moon Juice website.

None of us are immune to trying out a new health trend, I mean, I have a box of protein powders and potions to try sat next to me ready to test out. But who in their right minds can afford to splurge that much money on that many products for a smoothie? Karlie Kloss, that's who. For now we’ll stick to our spinach, apple and peanut butter green smoothie that costs roughly £4.37 to make. Unless you fancy sharing, Karlie?
