Kim Kardashian drips in diamonds, and Kylie Jenner has more sports cars than we have shoes, and really it’s not at all surprising when you hear how much they make from a single sponsored social media post. According to Michael Heller, CEO of digital marketing firm Talent Resources, they can reap up to $500,000 for an Instagram. That’s £404,800, or the price of a private island, a sports car, or a dingy flat in central London. Take a deep breath, it’s OK we too have made the wrong career choice. We too are going to sack it all in and become Instagram influencers.
Heller, who spilt on the Kardashian advertising rates revealed to US Weekly that Kim rakes in the most with her 94.8million followers, but Khloe and Kourtney also earn a respectable $250,000 (£202,199) for a pic. So, every time you see them swooning over a waist trainer or a tummy-tightening tea, bear in mind just how much they are reaping from this endorsement.
