Kanye West Comes Back To Instagram With Throwbacks Of Iconic Celeb Couples

Kanye West has been MIA from Twitter and Instagram since May 2017, following a low-profile stint after being hospitalised for exhaustion in 2016.

But now, the rapper and designer is back to say Happy Valentine’s Day to wife Kim Kardashian on her favourite social media platform – Instagram!

Kanye posted what appears to be a hand-written card laid on a worktop to his Instagram feed on Valentine’s Day, and then proceeded to post pictures of iconic celebrity couples – which took him 8 hours in total.

Starting with Madonna and Sean Penn, Kanye posted 52 couples – including Kim’s parents Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner, finishing off with two pictures of himself with Kim Kardashian.

Let’s take a look at who Kanye picked…

Celebrity couples who are no longer together

Many of the couples he posted have since broken up, which is super awkward - especially on Valentine’s Day, when people are likely trying to forget their exes.

Notably, Kanye didn’t post any of his own exes.

**Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton. **

Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley.

Seal and Tatjana Patitz.

Repeat entrants

Kanye’s Kouples series features some people more than once in different couplings throughout the ages.

**Pamela Anderson **

Pam is seen three times in the series, once with ex-husband Tommy Lee, who just got engaged to Vine star Brittany Furlan, again with ex-fiance Kid Rock, and lastly with ex-boyfriend Bret Michaels.

**Madonna **

Madonna also makes three appearances, one with ex-husband Sean Penn, another time with Dennis Rodman and lastly with ex-boyfriend Jean-Michel Basquiat.

**Dennis Rodman **

Dennis Rodman has a few appearances himself, including Madonna above, ex-wife Carmen Electra.

**Brad Pitt **

Bradders makes … appearances with; Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie who he is currently in the process of divorcing.

Fictional couples

Kanye featured one fictional couple in his series, the ever-iconic Carrie and Mr Big – who knew Kanye was a Sex and the City fan?

Comments under the images show that not everyone is a fan of Kanye’s picks, as they include some men who have been accused of abusing the women they stand in the pictures with.
