Justin Theroux has officially given everyone the go-ahead to keep calling him by his 'Mr Jennifer Aniston' nickname, and his reasoning is really rather lovely.

While this could be taken as a slight by some, when asked by the Sunday Times about the name, the actor revealed that it really doesn't bother him at all. 'It doesn't really get under my skin,' he said. 'It's just one of those things that's a shorthand for describing who I am.'

In fact, Justin, who is gushing in his praise for his talented wife throughout the interview, is proud to bear her name, and described Jennifer's strength and resilience in the face of intrusive media attention.

'[Jennifer] is a proper badass. She has lived through a lot of bullsh*t,' he said. 'Many people would have crumbled under some of the stresses that have been put on her. I'm very proud of that, for the way she handles herself.'

'In a weird way, it's an honour to stand behind her. Truly, in that sense, she's amazing.'

Don't mind us, Justin, we'll just continue sobbing into our keyboards.

The Girl On The Train star also described his admiration for Jennifer's powerful open letter, which was published on the Huffington Post earlier this year. Blasting body-shaming and 'warped standards of beauty,' the essay was prompted by a new round of Aniston pregnancy rumours, sparked after the actress was photographed on holiday with Theroux.

'I was very, very proud of her for writing that,' he revealed. 'It was very well written. She expressed herself beautifully.'

Top husband points, Justin.
