The judge didn't want him on the streets picking up rubbish

Justin Bieber is about to spend six days at an office in LA working the community service hours he was sentenced to, after admitting to egging a neighbour’s property earlier this year.

The singer will carry out physical labour at the MusiCares HQ in Los Angeles, an organisation that helps musicians who have health and addiction issues. You would think that Justin would work on the music side of things, but not so, instead he will be a manual worker.

Usually people who are sentenced to community service have to work in sanitation (remember Naomi Campbell?) and pick up rubbish, clean up beaches and so on, but the judge the in case knew if Justin Bieber was picking up trash on a freeway it would cause a major scene, so he put him indoors at the charitable organisation.

In addition to the hours of community service, he was sentenced to 12 anger management classes and had to pay his neighbours $80k after damaging their home when he and a group of pals egged it in January. Who knew eggs could cause that much damage? He’s also on probation till 2016.

The egging is just one of a litany of legal issues Bieber became embroiled in over the past year. He was arrested for drag racing in Miami, arrested for punching a limo driver in Toronto and got in a fist-fight with Orlando Bloom in Ibiza. Biebs must love taking that drama international.
