Justin Bieber might be on a promo tour for the song Sorry, but it seems he’s going to have to accompany it with a lot of actual sorries as he’s stormed out of two promotional events in two days.
First off, there was an awkward Spanish interview where he didn’t seem to like speaking through a translator (does he want all of his fans to speak English? Isn’t it enough that they know his lyrics?).
The singer, who was made famous via YouTube – at the very, very beginning, that’s how he got his record deal – was offered the opportunity to ‘break the internet’ with some Spanish YouTubers. Despite saying, ‘Let’s do it’, he waddled in his drop-crotch trousers right out of the studio.
Then, he got tetchy with fans at a TV show in Oslo, Norway, after they were too busy pawing at him to let him mop up some water that had been spilled on the stage.
‘I’m trying to wipe the floor, gimme a second, yo,’ he scolded the girls, before adding, ‘Never mind, I’m done, I’m not doing the show’ and walking off stage.
Bieber has released a statement via Instagram saying, ‘Sadly it’s been a rough week for me, long days, no sleep, while having to be “on” as they would say for cameras fans etc.’
He added: ‘I don't always handle things the right way, but I’m human and I’m working on getting better at responding not reacting.’
Early on in the Spanish interview, Justin had said he liked going for ‘beers’ with his friends at places where he can meet new people who’re ‘chill’ with him being famous. Maybe he’d prefer to be swilling beers at the central London pub he was spotted at last week than doing any actual promo for his album…
