How would you like to spend your half term break? Or your afternoon off of work? Or your once in a lifetime trip to London Is it queuing outside Madame Tussauds to get a photo with a waxwork of Justin Bieber? If so, you’re a very fun person and you might want to sit down for this news. Because there is to be a second waxwork made of Justin Bieber, and this time it’s sweating.
Featuring a topless wax Bieber with a bandana, headset microphone, low-slung trousers and peeking waistband of his boxer shorts, the model’s chest and arms are adorned in not only replica tattoos but imitation sweat. The life-size figure was ‘inspired by the jaw-dropping climax of the tour’ and a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds said: ‘The 22-year-old singing sensation's figure is topless, showing a toned torso off to perfection, with Bieber's trademark tattoos also carefully recreated and wearing drop-crotch shorts and tartan long-johns, accompanied by a white bandana.’
Is it too late now to say ‘weird’? No, because according to AOL, between October 22nd and 30th, you will be able to buy tickets to see real life dancers shimmying around Bieber while his song Sorry plays.
Meanwhile, IRL Justin has been spotted in Amsterdam, strolling around wearing a very obviously fake black wig and moustache ahead of his gigs there. It could be a for-real disguise gone wrong, or a set-up that’s being filmed. But as far as Bieber-in-Amsterdam-weirdness goes, it’s not that bad - remember the last time he was there and was shadow boxing in the Anne Frank museum, before noting in the guest book that ‘Anne would have been a Belieber’? You see, he’s made a lot of progress these past few years. And what better reward than being immortalised in wax yet still sweating from all that hard work?
