Remember back 2012 when John Mayor and Katy Perry were a thing? Way before her thing Orlando Bloom, and after Russell Brand, Katy Perry and John Mayor dated on and off for about two years.
They looked pretty great together, and we’re sure they had a grand old times but things didn’t work out and they both went their separate ways. Or so we thought…Mayer has recently admitted in an interview with the New York Timesthat his new song Still Feel Like Your Man, is about K.Perry. JOHN. MATE.
‘Who else would i be thinking about? And by the way, it’s a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it’s like, give me this, people.’

Errrrrrr, is this for real? John, mate - these lyrics are nice and all but they’re not really what we were expecting. Those rhymes. Somewhere? I do not really care? We're pretty sure someone as musically talented as John Mayor would be able to come up with a slightly better lyric than that. We're going to put it down to him being a little preoccupied - with thinking about Katy Perry.
