Fashion designer John Galliano is the latest A-lister to fall victim to robbery. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the 56-year-old's home was burgled in the middle of the night last Friday.
Amongst the stolen goods was one of the last photographs of Marilyn Monroe ever taken, which is reportedly worth over £43,000. It is not known whether he was at his home while the events unfolded.
The designer has lived in Paris since 1995, when he first became creative director of Givenchy.
The designer has been keeping a revaltively discreet profile since 2011, when he was dismissed from Dior for making anti-Sematic comments under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Galliano currently works as the creative director of Maison Margiela.
