We love a showbiz couple, so we were sad to hear that Channing Tatum and Jessie J had split up in December. But now we're excited all over again: US reports have stated that the Magic Mike actor and the Price Tag singer may have reunited.
The pair were spotted together in LA last week, shopping at a furniture store and making it clear that their separation had been amicable. But it may signify a rekindling of the romance. A source tells E! News that Channing and Jessie are 'fully back together'. 'They took a few weeks apart but ultimately decided they really care about each other', they add, saying that they 'seem very happy to be spending time together again.'
Channing and Jessie first got together in 2018, with the news coming to light in the most random way possible: they were spotted on a date at a mini golf course. Not long after, Channing took his daughter Everly to see Jessie in concert, and a week later Jessie supported Channing in London, at the launch of his Magic Mike dance show.
This new relationship followed his split from ex-wife Jenna Dewan. He and Jenna, who met on the set of dance film Step Up, made a statement that they had 'lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.' Jenna later spoke out on the difficulties of seeing Channing move on, but has since found love again.
Jessie has spoken about the pressure that comes with dating an A Lister. 'Just because he’s Channing Tatum everyone’s kind of sped us up in to this, like, "are you getting married? Are you doing this?"' she said last year. 'I mean, I've been in relationships for a lot longer than Chan and I have in the last four, five years but they're not famous so no one really cares. We're having a lovely time. And I'm very, very respectful of his situation and his [privacy]. But he looks great naked in the shower!'
We can't argue with that.
