We bring you sad news this week: everybody’s favourite unlikely celebrity couple have reportedly split. According to US reports, Jessie J and Channing Tatum have decided to part ways after over a year of dating. It comes just months after rumours that the pair were getting married.

US Weekly first reported on the split, but People later confirmed it. ‘Channing and Jessie have different priorities and focuses that don’t really align,’ a source told the publication. ‘They had a fun relationship, but it just didn’t work out. Channing needs to be in LA a lot so he can spend time with Everly [Channing’s daughter with ex Jenna Dewan]. Jessie prefers England. They are still friendly though.’

The pair were first linked in October 2018 - after Channing broke up from ex-wife Jenma Dewan, who share 6-year-old daughter Everly. The source also told People that the split was freindly. The insider added, ‘There wasn’t any drama. They just decided to part ways and are still good friends.’

RadarOnlinehas also reported that Channing has already been spotted on celebrity dating app Raya, which celebs such as Lewis Hamilton and Ben Affleck have used. A source told the website, ‘Channing's new profile popped up for LA users of the app last week, it's full of sexy photos and he's been very active on it. Nobody can quite believe he's moving on so quickly.’

Writing in her memoir, Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance in the Everyday, Jenna recently said that she was 'blindsided' by the Jessie and Channing romance. She wrote, 'In the beginning of my separation, it felt as though I were in a dark closet, desperately trying to find the light or the way out. I was in a state of shock. One week I'd be doing really well and the next I was slammed with a whole new slew of emotions. The rumour mill was churning out story after story.’

‘There were many times I hid under the covers, wondering what was next,’ she continued. ‘The pain hit me like a tumbling avalanche. I was completely overcome with fear and sadness. It took many moments of sitting alone with my grief to force me into surrendering to my roller coaster of a situation.’
