For the past week or so a viral video has been trending hard on Facebook. The viral video in question is of Jessie Graff competing in American Ninja Warrior Nation. At first you might wonder why you’re about to waste 2 minutes of your life watching said video, but by the end you’ll be amazed and want to start googling the hell out of Jessie. So we did the hard work for you. You’re welcome.
Who is Jessie Graff?
Jessica Lauren Graff (or Jessie) is a professional stunt women and athletics-based television personality. She is nicknamed ‘tumbleweed,’ we're not sure why as she does not resemble a tumbleweed. Perhaps it's ironic.
What other sports can Jessie Graff do?
She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a black slash in Kung Fu and is trained in five other martial art styles. Basically she’s an absolute pro at anything martial arts related and we are not. Fantastic.
How old is Jessie Graff?

How dare you ask. But if you must know, she was born on January 12th 1984, so she’s 32.
Where is Jessie Graff from?
She was born and raised in New York City.
How did Jessie Graff get into stunts?
She started taking circus classes aged 6, as you do. At 9 she started doing gymnastics, and went on to do competitive gymnastics for six years. She started her stunt career in 1997 after appearing on several television shows and films, including X-Men and Bridesmaids. She has also appeared as a stuntwomen in the new CBS series, *Supergirl. *
Does Jessie Graff have social media?
Yes, she does. She has Twitter: @JESSIEgraffPWR and Instagram: @jessiegraffpwr. Go follow her immediately to see all the stunts.
What’s the deal with Jessie Graff's American Ninja Warrior journey?
Jessie has had a long journey on ANWJ. On season 5 back in 2013 she became the first ever women to qualify to compete in the City Finals course – which FYI are EXTREMELY hard – but she didn’t compete it. Season 6 comes rolling round and Jessie was unable to compete due to injury. During this period, instead of giving up she spent it focusing on her pull-ups and grip strength. On season 7 in 2015, she couldn’t make it past Stage One because her leg strength wasn’t strong enough. Then, in season 8 (the most recent) she became the first women in* American Ninja Warrior* history to make it up the 14 1/2-foot warped wall and complete Stage One. Apparently only eight of the 45 male and female competitors who took on the course have completed it within the allocated two minutes and 20 seconds. Jessie was placed fourth among that eight, and only two women have ever made it to the Las Vegas finals. Superwomen or what.
Shall we just say Jessie Graff one more time? Oh wait there we go, just did (Jessie Graff).
