Remember when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were the first couple of reality television, on noughties hit TV show _Newlywed_s? Jessica Simpson became infamous for her comments about tuna being the "chicken of the sea" and thinking buffalo wings were actually buffalo.
The couple divorced in 2005 after three years of marriage, and are now both happily married to other people - Jessica Simpson to Eric Johnson and Nick to Vanessa Minnillo. But that doesn't mean they aren't still asked a lot about their time together.
Nick Lachey previously said that the couple aren't in touch and that "we don't stay in each other's lives" and that "In our situation, that was probably the best thing that could have ever happened that we didn't have kids" when he appeared on a talk show earlier last year.
Now Jessica has talked about their marrige on a TV too. Appearing on *CNBC Bell this week, Jessica was asked about her biggest money mistake. And she replied: *
"The biggest money mistakes? I don't know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage".
Ouch. Jessica didn't explain her comments, but we're assuming it was an expensive divorce.
