Here’s Further Confirmation That Jennifer Lawrence Really Is All Of Us

The only difference is video footage of you having a dance on a pole at your BFF’s birthday night out probably doesn’t have millions of eyes on it right now

Here’s Further Confirmation That Jennifer Lawrence Really Is All Of Us

Whatever goes down on a messy night out is usually strictly between you, your friends and your camera roll but sadly that’s not the case for Jennifer Lawrence. And that’s pretty fucked up.

Yesterday, a video of Jennifer at a club in Vienna made its way online. It shows the actress drinking, dancing and having regular human style fun. Shocker. You might be wondering why on earth anyone would care about Jennifer Lawrence’s night out, and that, my friends, would be the correct thing to think. But it’s J-Law, and people are always interested in what our beloved J-Law is up to. And also, the video shows her being a bit boozy, having fun at a private event that was presumably not intended to be scrutinised by the entire world and dancing in the vicinity of a pole. Heaven forbid America’s beloved Jennifer Lawrence have a night out that resembles anything like our own hazy Friday nights…

Besides taking this unfortunate invasion of privacy as confirmation that Jennifer Lawrence really is as #relatable as we’re told she is, extra props to Jen for how she handled the situation.

Shortly after the video surfaced on Wednesday, Jennifer posted a comment on her Facebook page to directly address the situation and basically say that no, she’s not going to apologise for having a good time.

She wrote: ‘Look, Nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet. It was one of my best friend’s birthdays and I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun. I’m not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night’.

‘Ps that’s not a bra it’s an Alexander Wang top’, Jennifer added in response to unnecessary exacerbated claims that she took her top off and was dancing around the club in her bra. ‘And I’m not gonna lie, I think my dancings pretty good. Even with no core strength’.

Can you imagine if videos of you, a few shots down and ready to take on the pole, made their way to the internet for all to see? Besides an unsuccessful fleeting attempt to delete all traces of myself online, turning off my phone forever and hiding in a hole for the rest of my life, I highly doubt I'd be able to deal with the situation with anywhere near as much matter of fact poise as Jennifer Lawrence did. And she's right. Few of us would ever think to apologise or even comment on the last time we had a damn good night out that looked scarily similar to Jennifer's. So why the hell should she?
