Jennifer Lawrence has appeared in nine films in the past three years, and so we have certainly seen a lot of her lately. And, of course, she’s been flitting from place to place, shooting films and promoting films and generally working quite tirelessly. That’s why, despite her penchant for sending long texts to Taylor Swift she’s going to turn her phone off once she’s wrapped on the last day of filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

‘On the last day of Hunger Games, I'm going to turn my phone off for a year! It's OK, it's my fault. I get little breaks here and there,' she told Empire magazine.

This is perhaps a more delicate way of putting it than her American Hustledirector David O. Russell phrased it. He recently raised a few eyebrows (yes, there are some un-Botoxed eyebrows in Hollywood that still have the power to ascend) after saying that Jennifer’s work over the past few years has been '12 years of slavery'. ‘I’ll tell you what it is about that girl – talk about 12 years of slavery, that's what the franchise is,’ he said.

It didn't go down well and he was forced to apologise. ‘Clearly I used a stupid analogy in a poor attempt at humour. I realised it the minute I said it, and I am truly sorry,’ he said.

We're betting he turned his phone off for a bit after that gaffe...
