Jennifer Lawrence might have disappointed us a leedle bit after she didn’t turn up to the BAFTAs to collect her Best Supporting Actress Award. But she’s landed smack bang back into our affections with her third Dior campaign.
The shots, taken by Patrick Demarchelier, see her pose with the Miss Dior chain-handled bag. Sporting slicked back, foppish Princess Diana hair that is just the right sort of two-tone, she wears a smart tuxedo jacket with giant houndstooth pocketsquare in one shot with nothing underneath. It's still totally classy and demure, though. The sharp angles lend the outfit an androgyny, like she’s Tilda Swinton or something. Not a bad thing at all.
In another shot, you can just about make out a patterned shoulderless dress, but for the most part, it’s just Jennifer’s flawless face, stunning upper body and that lovely bag. <3 And then there's this one down here. Be warned, your jaw's gonna hit the table.
Can Jennifer Lawrence successfully carry Natalie Portman’s Dior baton? Well, of bloody course she can. She can carry it and put it in that bag of hers for all she likes. It's no wonder the label recently extended her contract by three years for a cool $15m, she's an absolute babe.
