UPDATE: Just to bring some more news to this already delightful story, the first teaser trailer for Joy, the new David O Russell (Silver Linings Playbook) film is out. Starring (no suprise here) Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro, it tells the true story of Joy Mangano, a single mother of three who became a millionaire after inventing the Miracle Mop. It’s a lot more interesting than it sounds, honest. Have a look below.
Sometimes you get a tattoo on your hand that’s sort of skin coloured and a bit wobbly and you realise that it’s not quite the Rihanna ink you thought it was. Often, though, you’re not also a multi-million dollar A-lister like Jennifer Lawrence, though – so it’s baffling why she got a weird brown shaky ‘H2O’ tattooed on herself.
At least she gets it, though, having had the tattoo done during an outing with Liam Hemsworth’s family. ‘You know, I call this tattoo a watered-down rebellion, because it’s not like a real tattoo,’ she told a reporter at Comic Con. ‘It’s just like, I was with Liam’s family and everybody was getting tattoos and I was like, well, I’m always going to need to be hydrated, so I guess I should just get an H2O on my hand.’
Adorable, yes, but the tattoo really is quite bad. The 2, for example, is in the wrong place and it’s the colour of skin. ‘It’s the color of a scar so it’s au naturel and it’s literally the most unrebellious tattoo that anybody could ever get. By the way, I know that the two is high and H2O the two is supposed to be low, I should've Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever.’
Brilliant. We hope J-Law never changes because we love her just the way she is. Even with a weird brown tattoo that makes no sense on her hand. On another note, though, how cool are Liam Hemsworth's family?!
