In a new cover interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Lawrence is once again being her usual relatable self. Describing herself as a ‘psychotic dog mum’ who found Paris fashion week as ‘the most intimidating time to be alive’, the actress opened up about her career, her struggle to maintain a private life, and how she flat out refuses to be a bridesmaid again.

J-Law also spoke frankly about how her close friendship with Emma Stone came about, and it's all thanks to mutual co-star Woody Harrelson who made the initial introduction.

‘She texted me that she got my number from Woody,’ Lawrence said. ‘I replied, Fuck off!’ And we’ve been really good friends ever since.’

The pair then kept in touch by everyday by text. ‘I feel like it was our version of The Notebook—365 texts,’ Lawrence joked.

While Lawrence and Stone may be two of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood, there is no competition.

‘I don’t know what I would be without acting. So if there is someone who loves the same thing, it should bring us closer. But it depends on how that person is, and Emma is so normal and lovely,’ Lawrence gushed.

‘She may not even know this but there was definitely a time early on when I was like OH HEY MY EGO IS GOING NUTS SHE’S SO GREAT AND VIBRANT AND TALENTED I’M SCREWED I’LL NEVER WORK AGAIN GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD. Then I chilled the fuck out—and remembered we’re completely different and there is room for everyone, even if it’s an industry that doesn’t really seem to support that idea up front.’

‘We both really do love each other and care about each other as people, beyond being actors. I support her completely when it comes to work and I feel the same from her, but I know we’d be friends even if we didn’t do the same job,’ Lawrence continued.

Erm, can we please be her friend?

And if you were wondering about the man in her life, Lawrence is staying schtum. Well, sort of. The 26-year-old is notoriously guarded about her private life, and refuses to discuss her romantic relationships, however she did describe director and reported boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky as a ‘visionary’. In a professional sense of course.
