Another film to promote, another round of wacky quotes from one Jennifer Lawrence. So if her goofy quotes and funny faces are beginning to get on your nerves, probably best to avoid the rest of this article, because what she said at the New York premiere of X Men: Days of Future Past was up there with those red-carpet falls.
Well, apart from what she said about boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, who co-stars with her in the superhero film. When asked how it was working with the former Skins star, she said: 'It was great! Obviously. He's a fantastic actor, wonderful co-star, great roommate.'
Which is pretty cute, you have to admit. Roommate! Like they're at summer camp still! She added that it was great to actually hang out with him, instead of being relegated to different trailers in different sets in different parts of the world. 'It's fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time,' she told People magazine. 'So when you're on set together it's a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together.'
In another red-carpet interview, MTV asked her how she felt about having to be in that pretty naked blue 'armour' suit throughout filming: 'That's not really something that slips a woman's mind. I wasn't reading the script like… oh great.'
But of course, she didn't let the outfit – or lack of outfit – change her behaviour, which of course, involves eating heartily: 'You would think because I ate so much during so much, I was trying to frickin prove something. I could've had one salad, it wouldn't have killed me.'
Ready for some more pure kook? Jennifer also introduced E! News to a man, saying he was her cousin, then admitting he wasn't, all while revealing just how a Jennifer Lawrence is born: 'His dad pulled me out of my mother's you-know-what,' she said. 'And there's this famous story how my dad thought I was a boy, and he made his dad check twice… turns out it was a girl!'
Clearing up the confusion by perhaps just being a bit confusing, Jennifer added: 'We're like cousins, but we always forget that we're not cousins… there's no actual relation.'
OK, well… we've never heard that one on the red carpet before!
