The internet went into collective meltdown when Jennifer Aniston joined the ‘gram – and the actor is continuing to use the site to shock fans. On Monday, she joined the site, posting a pic of the Friends cast. But now, Jennifer has provided another update on what the show’s characters would be up to in 2019.

Spoiler: Ross and Rachel would still be on a break.

Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe asked the 50-year-old in the comments: ‘ARE YOU AND ROSS STILL TOGETHER!!???’ to which Jen replied, ‘Well we’re on a break.'

In the unlikely event that you have never watched the show{ =nofollow}, Aniston was making a reference to the season three episode The One Where Ross and Rachel Take A Break. Rachel asks if they should pause their relationship for a bit following an argument – but when Ross sleeps with another girl during the break, Rachel dumps him. However, Ross’s justification for his actions is that they were ‘on a break’ at the time, sparking the most iconic catchphrase of the series.

Aniston has also since apologised for breaking the internet, taking to the site to share a clip of her throwing her phone down in a fit of rage. 'I swear I didn’t mean to break it...' she wrote in a caption. 'Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome.' During the clip, Aniston is in character as news anchor Alex Levy, from upcoming Apple series The Morning Show.

The actor has also broken Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's world record to become the fastest account to reach one million followers{ =nofollow}. They amassed 1m follows in just six hours. However, Aniston reached the milestone in just under five hours and 45 minutes. Amazingly, she gained over 10.1million followers in just over 24 hours.
