Tara Reid Is Isolating With Celebrity Big Brother Housemates Jedward

Reality TV can strike up unconventional friendships. Think I’m A Celeb’s Georgia Toffolo and Stanley Johnson. Or the unexpected bromance between TOWIE and MIC when Pete Wicks and Sam Thompson became best mates on Celebs Go Dating. But perhaps one of the most surprising friendships of all was the close bond which formed between actress Tara Reid and former X Factor stars Jedward on Celebrity Big Brother in 2011.

We’re pleased to report that the friendship has lasted, as Tara revealed last month that the singers have been isolating with her and her boyfriend in her 'small apartment' in LA. ‘The other guys I’m also quarantining with are my two best friends that I’ve grown up with… do you know who Jedward is?’ she said on the WeHear podcast. Jedward could then be heard in the background saying that it was ‘like a season of Big Brother except for the coronavirus pandemic’ and that they had cleaned her windows.

New Jedward music could also be on the way, as the pair are apparently using their free time to write and perform - and it’s certainly keeping Tara entertained. She added, ‘Right now to have them in my life here… they truly have made this experience so much better than it would have been for me…’

This isn’t the only shock news Tara has revealed, as she recently confirmed that she’s in the running to play Tiger King's Carole Baskin in the upcoming TV series which is going to star Nicolas Cage{ =nofollow}. ‘We’re definitely in major conversations and working out the things,’ the American Pie star told US Weekly. And, if she gets the part, then Tara wants to learn from Carole herself how to play the part. ‘I would definitely want to spend a week with [Baskin] – not to ask her anything, to see how she eats, s**ts, see how she plays, see if she talks to people,’ she explained.
