They may have finally confirmed their relationship with public displays of affection - most recently at Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammys party - but Jamie Foxx is still not ready to talk about girlfriend Katie Holmes.

This weekend the actor walked out of a live interview on US news network ESPN when he was asked about whether or not he had played basketball with the actress on Valentine’s Day. The on-air interview was taking place just before Foxx was due to take part in an all-star celebrity basketball game. Despite the awkward interview, Foxx wasn’t angry or rude – indeed, he was smiling coyly the entire time, proving that there was no bad blood behind his decision not to talk.

The couple has been linked for several years, with many speculating that they were forced to keep their relationship a secret thanks to a strange clause in Holmes’ divorce settlement with former husband Tom Cruise. The clause meant that the actress was unable to ‘publically date’ anyone else for five years after the split. Then, in July of last year, the couple were spotted holding hands on a beach in Malibu, five years after Holmes' divorce from Cruise was finalised.

Grazia uncovered the rumours of the secret clause through an interview with Ronald Miscavige, the father of the head of Scientology David, in which he told us: 'Nobody knows for sure if she signed the agreement, but I know that when she left him she did date other people on the sly. I’m sure she’s eager to get her life back and not have to hide her romance any more.'
