The trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs continues and is expected to last eight weeks. He has pleaded not guilty in court and denies all allegations.

There has been endless speculation of the famous names that could potentially be called to testify in the Diddy trial, which the judge referred to as 'mammoth.' We've seen rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, take to the stand, along with Diddy's ex Cassie Ventura, Daniel Philip, an escort hired by Diddy.

Outside the courtroom, Jamie Foxx, a former friend of Diddy's, has addressed the strange rumours that Diddy tried to kill him two years ago.

What has Jamie Foxx said about Sean 'Diddy' Combs?

Now, Jamie Foxx has addressed rumours that Diddy tried to kill him. This came about two years ago, when the US actor was hospitalised for several weeks after suffering a haemorrhagic stroke and bleed on the brain.

During The Hollywood Reporter’s Stand-Up Comedy Roundtable, Foxx revealed he 'snuck' his phone into the ward because he wanted to know 'what the outside world was saying' adding 'I couldn’t get my mind around the fact that I had a stroke. I’m in f*****g perfect shape.’ This is when he came across the rumours that Diddy was behind his hospitalisation.

'No, Puffy didn’t try to kill me,' he stated, before referring to the strange theories that he was a clone. 'When they [conspiracy theorists] said I was a clone, that made me flip. I’m sitting in the hospital bed, like, "These b***h-a** mothers are trying to clone me."'

He continued: ‘And then I saw me walk into my room, but I’m white, so I see the white me. The next morning, I said, “I know what’s up, you’re trying to clone me and make me white so I’ll sell better overseas.”'

Foxx explained a psychiatrist responded to his joke by asking: ‘Are you all right?’ He replied: ‘Am I all right or am I all white? I saw you trying to get the white motherf*****g Jamie Foxx and it ain’t going to happen.’

Foxx then recalled how his psychiatrist 'calmly' decided to lower the dosage of his medication.

This isn't the first time Foxx has addressed the conspiracy about Diddy. In his Netflix special, What Had Happened Was..., which aired last year, he said: 'The internet was trying to kill me, saying Puffy was trying to kill me. I know what you're thinking… Did he?!”

The rapper then referred to Combs’ sex parties - known as 'freak offs'- saying 'Hell, no, I left them parties early. I was out by 9, n*****, something don't look right, n*****. It looks slippery in here!'

How does Jamie Foxx know Sean 'Diddy' Combs?

Jamie Foxx is known to be a long-time friend of Diddy, and they have been photographed together on many occasions. In a 2010 interview with Time magazine, Foxx said he, Diddy and Ashton Kutcher were once a 'a rat pack, hanging out, going to clubs' and he also gave a speech at Combs’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony in 2008. He has not been publicly connected to Diddy's alleged misconduct, nor has he commented on Diddy's arrest outside of the Netflix special.
