We are pretty excited about the BAFTAs, taking place this Sunday. And we're not the only one. James Norton, star of nominated film Little Women, is already warming up for the big event.

James, who plays John in Greta Gerwig's critically acclaimed adaptation of the literary classic, has gone for a spin in an Audi e-tron with film critic Danny Leigh, to offer his predictions ahead of the big night. It's Carpool Karaoke, plus film, and minus the karaoke. So nothing like Carpool Karaoke, actually.

Little Women is nominated for Best Film, Best Film Music and Best Costume Design. Actors Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh are both nominated for their performances. James will also be aiming to make an impression in cinemas with his next film, Mr Jones, in which he plays Welsh journalist Gareth Jones, who fights to expose the Soviet Union's famine in the 1930s. Vanessa Kirby, who played Princess Margaret in The Crown, co-stars.

James may soon have to get behind the wheel himself, if he makes many a wish come true by becoming the next James Bond. The actor (who already has the right name, after all) is hotly tipped to replace Daniel Craig after he bows out in the next instalment of the spy franchise. Nevertheless, James himself insists he hasn't signed on the dotted line, or even auditioned.

'It's crazy', he tells The Sunday Times. 'It's not real. It's speculative. There is no truth behind it. Unless journalists know something more than I do. It's bizarre and quite flattering to be even considered in that world, but beyond that? Pure speculation.'
