It’s one of the highest accolades an actor can receive, but an Oscar nomination isn’t just about the honour: it’s also about the promise of a crazily expensive goodie bag, packed with weird and wonderful treats.
It’s fair to say that this annual tradition is a little higher end than the party bags you coveted as a child. This year’s award nominees, including the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Eddie Redmayne and Cate Blanchett, will all have the chance to walk away with over $200,000 worth of gifts, which the Academy describes as ‘a blend of fabulous, fun and functional items meant to pamper those who may have everything money can buy, but still savour the simple joy of a gift.’
So what’s in the bag? The contents range from the sublime to the ridiculous. Highlights from this year’s line-up include a ten-day first class trip to Israel, three private training sessions with a celebrity PT, a laser skin tightening procedure and the rather terrifying sounding ‘vampire breast lift.’The $250 Haze Dual V3 Vaporizer will probably go down a treat with Best Actor hopeful Leonardo diCaprio (who sent Twitter into meltdown when he was pictured vaping at the SAG Awards) but we’re mainly jealous of the prospect of $300 of personalised M&Ms.
The celebs will also be sipping on a Limited Edition Oscar's Magnum bottle of Champagne from PIPER HEIDSIECK. Only 1000 bottles have been produced and you can be the proud owner of one by following @GraziaUK and retweeting our RT to win tweet. Here's what's up for grabs:
