Baby Simon Cowell has only been alive for 19 hours but there are already two spoof twitter accounts giving him a voice. A voice that says things like this:
In typical Simon Cowell style smoothness, his son Eric was born on Valentine’s Day in LA. His dad said he was ‘healthy and handsome’ – and named after Cowell’s late father Eric.
No doubt plans are currently being drawn up about how to officially announce the first baby pictures of Eric – an X Factor style competition to see which celeb magazine will offer the most money, perchance? – but in the meantime there’s the vacuum that is social media to be filled.
And that means:
1. Spoof baby accounts – with profile pictures like this:

**2. Celebs rushing to tweet their congratulations. Extra speedily if you’re one of the many exes of Simon Cowell who the world automatically assumes will be actually pretty pissed off with the birth of Eric: **

3. A whole load of quite funny jokes:

**4. And some pretty sick ones trending under the topic #simoncowellsbabydeserves to die that really don’t merit repeating. **
Ah, births in the internet age, eh? Almost as strange as deaths.
