Who Is Paul Mescal’s Housemate India Mullen?

Last summer, our hearts break just a little bit every time we see photographs of Normal People heartthrob Paul Mescal walking through summery London with a gorgeous blonde. We had been labouring under the assumption that he was single, that there was a chance that he might run into our path during one of his canal runs and decide that he just had to take us home to meet the family. But it quickly became clear that this fantasy, however slim, has not disappeared: the woman in question was actress India Mullen, his housemate, friend and Normal People co-star. (Of course, it has since transpired that Paul is dating musician Phoebe Bridgers.)

Where does she live?

India, who is best known for playing Peggy in Normal People, lives with Paul in North East London. They are regularly snapped on walks, buying groceries or picking up coffee.

Where is she from and how old is she?

India is 23, and is from Ireland (unlike Daisy Edgar-Jones, who is English and is just delivering a very impressive accent). She studied at The Gaiety School Of Acting in Dublin.

What else has she been in?

Like Paul and Daisy, Normal People is India's biggest project to date in terms of global reach. But she has plenty of other projects under her belt, including Women On The Verge, Krypton, Into the Badlands and Irish drama Red Rock.

Does she have Instagram?

She does. She has a particular flair for art, and shares images of her sketches and photos via her page, @indiamullen.

Does she have a boyfriend?

We’re not sure. We do know, though, that she has previously been linked with Daryl McCormark, who’s also an actor.
