Who is Myles Stephenson?
Myles Stephenson is 28, and was born in Watford. Even though he's on I'm A Celeb, he is still a member of X Factor group Rak-Su, who won the competition in 2017.
What the’s deal with Rak-Su?
Rak-Su, an R&B group consisting of Stephenson and childhood friends Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland and Mustafa Rahimtulla, won X Factor in 2017. The group were also one of the few acts to audition for the talent show using their own material - and continued to wow audiences with their own songs throughout the series.
But even though their winners single Dimelo went to number 6 in the charts, they were dropped by RCA in August, only 18 months after being crowned champions, as their following tracks didn't receive the same response.
Whether they’re going to continue as a group after the jungle is uncertain, as the singer said he would take other opportunities ‘by the scruff of the neck.’ Before the launch of I’m A Celeb, he said, ‘They [Rak-Su bandmates] are really supportive and they totally understand. I would love to stay in the band but if other opportunities come along my way as well after this, you have to take it by the scruff of the neck.’
What happened between Myles Stephenson and Love Island’s Gabby Allen?
Fitness enthusiast Gabby andMyles found love in September 2018. At the beginning of this year, the pair moved in together - but by August, the pair had called it quits, after reports that Myles was messaging other girls on Instagram. ‘The newspaper articles are true,’ Gabby wrote on Instagram. ‘I am no longer in a relationship. I hope youse (sic) have all had a better week than me! If anyone else has anything they need to tell me, please do.'
