Just like her namesake Iggy Pop, Iggy Azalea brings a lot of energy to her stage shows. Throwing her quick-fire rap drawl over high-energy electronic hip hop beats, there's an element of chaos to the gigs.
However, all spontaneity now subsides when it comes to crowd-surfing; she simply can't do it any more because she's worried she'll get fingered by her fans.
'Like, they think I'm real slutty, like "Oh, she's got a song called Pu$$y." I will get lurk tweets for like a week before my show, like ,"I'm about to go to the Iggy Azalea show and I'm going to finger her. I know what she wants. She wants these two fingers. And I'll see it and I'll be like, "Please don't. I don't like that stuff!"'
'Why would I want a stranger to ever finger me?' the 23-year-old told Hot 97. 'Buying my album for $12 doesn't mean you get to finger me when I come to your city.'
It's not just blokes trying to slip her the finger, though. She explained that it's girls who are most prone to wandering digits, as they think they have licence to do it: 'The crazy thing is girls will try to do it the most,' Iggy said. 'Girls will try to do it more than guys because girls think it's cool, like, "What? We both got vaginas. It's fine!" [That] doesn't make it OK.'
Now Azalea wraps up to stop people from touching her, wearing two pairs of underwear and skin-coloured tights.
Stick around for the rest of the interview, where Iggy talks about her attitude to porn. 'Of course I [watch porn]. I think all women watch porn and if you don't watch porn, it's not healthy.' She also explains her new twerking policy now she's big time: 'I pay people to twerk on stage for me now. I don't do my own twerking.' Azalea also talks sports and sex tapes. But if you're watching at work, plug your headphones in – it's probably best if your boss doesn't hear.
