She’s recently been slogging it out as a TV host, and now it looks like Iggy Azalea is branching out even further from her music career, at least if this titbit from Vin Diesel is anything to go by.
The actor was being interviewed by France’s Skyrock FM about his role in Guardians of the Galaxy when he revealed he’d acted with Iggy just a few weeks ago.
Vin was asked to choose his favorite song out of Ariana Grande’s Problem, Wiggle by Jason Derulo and Iggy Azeala’s massive summer hit Fancy and **answered: ‘Well, Iggy Azalea, I just worked with her two weeks ago. I guess you’ll be the first person that knows this — we casted her in Fast & Furious 7. She has a cameo in Fast & Furious 7.’
The movie is scheduled to be released in April 2015 and also stars Michelle Rodriquez, Dwane Johnson and another rapper-turned-actor, Ludacris.
Based on the word ‘cameo’ we’re wondering if Iggy’s part is simply playing herself, or if she’s taking on the role of a fictional character? So far her camp hasn’t commented.
She’s already shown she has designs on a career as a TV host and is hosting a whole season of the newly-revived MTV series House of Style, the series that was once fronted by Cindy Crawford.
