In today's exciting news, Hunger Games is getting its own museum exhibit and (maybe) theme park. Yes, really!

The film franchise - based on Suzanne Collins' books of the same name - that catapulted everyone's fave starlet Jennifer Lawrence into the spotlight is being further immortalised by The Hunger Games: The Exhibition - a travelling exhition that is set to take to the road following the release of the third installment of the film Mockingjay Part 1 (did we mention how excited we are!?)

The exhibition, described by Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer as a "state of the art travelling museum" is said to feature displays of the props and detailed costumes as worn by Katniss, Peeta Mellark, Gale Hawthorn and more when it tours the US next summer. The exhibit will also feature artifacts from the many intricately orchestrated locations including some of the Districts of Panem and the Capitol.

Lionsgate Entertainment is also said to be in the early stages of planning a theme park based on the series. Presumably this won't consist of children attacking each other in a fight to the death... maybe, rather some archery lessons and targets for every wannabe Katniss. Badass side-braids for all participants totally mandatory.

The expansion of the franchise is a no brainer considering the first two films have already racked up a whopping $1.5 billion worldwide. Wowzer.

There's no news as of yet whether it will be gracing this side of the Atlantic but one can dream! May the odds be ever in our favour.
