Thanks to Jameela Jamiland her powerful I weighmovement, the Kardashians and their controversial Instagram posts have been a hot topic for months now.
Most recently, the body-positive activist targeted Khloe Kardashian for her sponsored Instagram post for weight loss product Flat Tummy Co, something that her sister Kim has also endorsed.
Writing underneath Khloe's post promoting the brand that has consequently now been removed from her Instagram, The Good Place star wrote, quite rightly, "If you're too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic rather than this laxative product… And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren't healthy. Possible Flat Tummy Tea side effects are cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea and dehydration... then I guess I have too."
She also asked Khloe to 'be smarter than this' and to 'not hurt other girls the way you have been hurt.'
Khloe's sister Kim then addressed Jameela's criticism in an interview with The New York Times, saying that they only endorse products they actually use and implied that financially, it all was worth it.
"You’re going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you’re okay with that," she explained.
And now momager Kris Jenner – who still manages all her daughter's careers - has revealed exactly how financially better they really are when they agree to do sponsored posts.
In a chat with CBS, the head of the family admitted that all her daughters "are constantly getting offers to post something for a company, or a brand, on social media an they have a fee for a post, or a fee for a story, a fee for Facebook, a fee for – you know – they have a fee schedule."
And while she didn't reveal the exact amount, she did admit that it was "within the six figure range" and it depends on the product.
For example, if they're asked to post about "a pharmaceutical product, if it’s something that you’re going to drink, or ingest, or put on your body," the fee will go up.
