Here’s How Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank First Met

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have opened up about the moment they first met as they prepare for their royal wedding at St George's Chapel, Windsor. Speaking to This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford ahead of their big day on Friday 12th October.

The official Twitter account for the Royal Family tweeted out a snippet of Princess Eugenie and Jack's interview with Ruth and Eamonn as the couple spoke candidly about the moment they first met. And it's actually quite relatable (minus the skiing at a friends chalet in the Swiss alps.

"It was love at first sight," Eugenie revealed, with Jack elaborating: "We were skiing at a friend's place in Switzerland and I think I saw you first, didn't I? And we just stared at each other"

When quizzed about her initial thoughts on wine merchant Jack, Eugenie explained: "I thought, 'what a silly hat' and then I thought 'who's that' and then you came over and shook my hand, and I was all butterflies and nervous."

The princess then added: "I think I rang my mum that night and said, "I've just met this boy Jack,' and that was it I think, that's how it started."

Eugenie then went on to tell Ruth and Eamonn Jack's best qualities, describing him as "the kind of guy, when you're lost at a party and you panic you have no one to talk to and you need help, he'll walk in and makes everyone feel so special."
