Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop is known for selling weird and wonderful (and quite expensive) items. However, one of her latest products has caused quite a stir. Even for her. Last week, the internet erupted into giggles when the site started selling a candle, which was not-so-subtly named This Smells Like My Vagina.

How does that smell then, we hear you ask. The website described the candle as being ‘funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected’ - with GP coining the title herself. ‘This candle started as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and G,’ the product description continued. ‘The two were working on a fragrance, and she blurted out, “Uhhh..this smells like a vagina”—but evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent. (That turned out to be perfect as a candle—we did a test run at an In goop Health, and it sold out within hours.)’ The website continues to describe the unconventional scent: ‘It’s a blend of geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed that puts us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.’

If you like the sound of that, the candle would have set you back a cool £67. But, while it might surprise some of you, the candle has now actually sold out - but there’s one woman who still wants to get her hands on one. Speaking about the product on This Morning today, Holly Willoughby admitted that she’d like one. Debating the candle with US reporter Ross King and Lorraine, Holly said, ‘Is it wrong that I want to buy one?’ Even though they’re sold out, we’re sure Gwyneth can help Holly buy one.
