Helen Mirren Captured All Of Our Hearts Running Down The Catwalk Barefoot At Paris Fashion Week

The L’oreal show at Paris Fashion Week had an all-star cast, with Andie MacDowell, Geri Halliwell{ =nofollow}, Camila Cabello, Cheryl and Eva Longoria strutting down the catwalk at The Monnaie de Paris on Saturday. But nobody stole the show quite like Helen Mirren, who captured all of our hearts when she sprinted down the runway - without any shoes on.

It was the brand’s third annual Le Défilé fashion show, where each of the models sported different looks, with outfits from the likes of AMI, Balmain, Dries Van Noten, Elie Saab and Giambattista Valli.

The Oscar-winning actress opted for a sensational black-and-white gown, which she paired with a glorious slicked back hairstyle. And doesn’t she look absolutely joyous! As one fan tweeted, ‘I hope your Monday is as happy as Helen Mirren running down a catwalk barefoot.’

Recently, Dame Helen spoke exclusively to Grazia at Cannes Film Festival{ =nofollow}about working with the make-up brand, saying she's proud to be a face of the company, thanks to their inclusivity. ‘All of these fences have been slowly broken down,' she told us. 'And I think what L’Oreal [Paris] have done is they’ve truly embraced it. They’ve incorporated different ages and genders, they’ve incorporated race, they’ve incorporated disabilities. A diverse, realistic representation of people - an authentic selection of who we all are. It’s why I’m proud to be an Ambassador.'
