The video for One Direction's Story Of My Life might haul in parts of the boys' personal lives: footage of them as kids all the way back in, um, 1996 , glossy shots of family members patting them on their Urban Outfitters-clad backs and clips of them all hugging and holding hands like they're at group therapy.
But that doesn’t mean that Harry Styles is prepared to lay out his personal life for reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Though he's been pictured out and about with Kendall Jenner, most recently spotted skiing with her and some mates in California's Mammoth Lakes resort, he's apparently adamant he won't let cameras in on their dates.
'Harry has told Kendall that he will not appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians under any circumstances,’ a 'friend' (don’t you love how they do that?) of Harry told the*NY Daily News. *‘Harry does not want his love life played out across the world on TV.'
This'll be a disappointment to Kardashian matriarch (and executive producer of the show) Kris Jenner. 'Obviously she wants her daughter to have the best relationship with Harry but as the show’s EP [executive producer, obvs] she knows how much of a draw footage of the pair could be.
Bad luck, Kris. She managed to get Kim’s now-fiancé Kanye West on there, but couldn’t swing it for those One Direction fans. And bad luck for us. We would have loved to see how Harry’s dry sense of humour, laud back temperament and sloooow manner of speech would have gone down during a frantic instalment of The Kardashians.
