The countdown to Harry and Meghan's last day as senior royals continues. Ahead of March 31, when the couple retire from their official duties, the pair have been in the UK for their final commitments. Last night, they stepped out at the Mountbatten Festival of Music.

The couple received a standing ovation from the audience as they took their seats at the Royal Albert Hall, with Meghan wearing a stunning red full-length Safiyaa dress, complemented by Simone Rocha earrings and Aquazurra heels.

Meanwhile Prince Harry wore a dress uniform, with the medals he was awarded from two tours of Afghanistan.

Members of the Royal Marines showcased their musicianship and pageantry during the two-day festival, which is marking the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

Harry attended in his role as Captain General Royal Marines, a position he will retire at the end of the month. All of his military appointments will be put on hold, as per the agreement that sees the couple move away from their royal responsibilities.

It is the latest appearance in their final, official UK visit. On Thursday night, the couple were at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London. Earlier that day, Meghan had visited the National Theatre, of which she is a patron, and was seen at The Goring Hotel. On Friday, Harry was on hand to launch The Silverstone Experience in Northamptonshire, with the help of Lewis Hamilton. Meghan also visited the Robert Clack School in Dagenham.

After appearing at the Mountbatten Festival of Music, Meghan is expected to mark International Women's Day on Sunday, although further details have not been confirmed. On Monday, they will join the whole family - including The Queen - for the Commonwealth service at Westminster Abbey.

Then, it will be time to return to Canada to begin their new lives. Forgive us if we get a bit emotional.
