S Club 7 have announced that their reunion tour will go ahead following the death of band member Paul Cattermole.

The tour, which was set to see the seven original band members back together to celebrate their 25th anniversary, was thrown into question when Paul, 46, tragically and suddenly died on 6 April.

Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Jo O'Meara will reunite for the 19-date tour, but they will not be joined by Hannah Spearritt. Paul and Hannah were in a relationship during their time in the band, and for a brief period in 2015, and she has since called him her 'first true love', though it hasn't been confirmed why Hannah is stepping back from the tour.

The band announced the update on their Instagram page in an emotional video and said they wish Hannah 'all the best for the future'.

Lee said: 'We have been in a bit of shock, and it has taken a while for us to find the right words to describe how we feel about losing our brother Paul.'

Rachel added: 'Just taking the time to process and get our heads around it all, and also taking time to share time together so that we could remember Paul and all the memories we had together.'

While Bradley said Paul was a 'big brother' to them all and a 'unique specimen of human being. No one could replace our Paul, he lives on inside in each and every one of us.'

'Whenever Paul would walk into the room, you definitely knew that he was there because he would just light it up with humour and love,' Jo added.

The tour will now be called the Good Times tour in memory of Paul as 'that was his song and all the fans knew it was his song, so it just feels right'.
