After this weekends events, we can assume quite a few things got under President Donald Trump’s (ew) skin. One being the streams of women across the globe marching for unity, love and to show support for sisterhood. Two being the lack of turnout at his inauguration, and three? Well, three might just be this ‘Half An Onion’ Twitter account.

Confused? So are we. The Twitter account @HalfOnionInABag, is just that. Half an onion in a bag, created to get more Twitter followers than Donald Trump. Half An Onion In A Bag joined Twitter on 20th, aka inauguration day, and so far he (or she?) has 123k followers. Not bad for three days. Not bad indeed.

Donald Rump, I mean Trump, has a massive 14.3million followers - but he has had Twitter since 2009 according to the Daily Mail. Fun fact, he joined after a seven-minute pitch which convinced him it would help sell more of his ‘Think Like A Champion’ book. Of course he did.

Half An Onion In A Bag likes to tweet about everyday things, like how Eric Trump always looks like he’s bitten into a raw onion, eating vegetables and writing his first book: ‘Half Onion In A Bag: The Art Of The Meal.’ Twitter users have been quick to follow the spoof account, labeling it ‘more intelligent than the Trumpler.’

The moral of this story? If you do one thing today, go and follow this account. Go share this account with your pals. Go tweet about this account, heck make your own 'follow me not trump' account. Half An Onion In A Bag, over to you, feel free to annoy the President till your heart's content.
