Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have been (doubly) married a whole seven days now, so they’re likely settled into Normal Routines, Soothing Monotony and Unremarkable Cheerfulness. JK! It’s been one hell of a week for two of the most famous people in the world – to name but a few, and besides the wedding of the century, the couple starred in a Calvin Klein campaign, Justin had an internet row with PETA about his expensive cats, and released a new single with Dan + Shay (10,000 hours, ‘wedding music’ according to a tweet of Bieber’s). A week of ups and downs, for sure – and then, Hailey scratched the wheels of Justin’s pink Lamborghini. How will they pay for the damage?
Just four days after their South Carolina ceremony, Justin posted footage of his bride in the aftermath of the momentous hub-cap scuff. Behind the camera, Justin can be heard teasing, ‘What did you do? What did you do? Aww, man’ as Hailey apologises with a smile. Insisting she can ‘fix it’, Hailey describes the damage as a ‘bad scratch’ – Justin’s not too upset, responding to her pout with some classic playground flirting. ‘You think you’re freaking cute, and you have pigtails.’ She is! She does! He tugs them!
The pair look as happy as a couple of newlyweds ought to. Marrying for a second time on September 30th 2019, almost exactly a year after their first ceremony, the wedding itself offered no shortage of star quality or attendance. Guests included Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Katy Perry and Jaden Smith as well as Justin’s manager Scooter Braun, while Hailey wore not one – not two – but three gowns. What I mean is, it’s official – for better, and for worse, the pair have agreed to stick together through even the deepest rim scratches or exotic pet scandals. Life isn’t just a series of iconic underwear campaigns and new single releases – I think that’s how the old saying goes?
