It seems like two ticks ago when we were marvelling at the kooky baby name choice of Apple back in 2004.
And now Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter is taking her first steps into teenagedom.
Yes, the cute toddler with giant headphones we saw partying with Gwyn at the Live8 Concert in Hyde Park in 2005 has hit the big 1-3.
The milestone was celebrated by proud mum and Oscar-winner Gwyneth, who posted a touching tribute to her teen daughter on Instagram:
"Happy 13th birthday, you gorgeous human. You light up every room, my heart, the world. You. Are. Everything. I love you, schnapps," Gwyneth wrote, next to a red apple emoji.
We can't fail to notice how Apple is now the absolute spit of her famous mum. She has like-for-like features and the same steady gaze as the Shakespeare In Love actress.
Gwyneth and her ex Chris took the decision to "consciously uncouple" in March 2014, after ten years of marriage.
They remain friends and occasionally sleep over at one another's houses or go on holiday together for the sake of their children - Apple, and her 11-year-old brother Moses.
"Our values are very much around the importance of family and the importance of those relationships and I'm lucky that we're aligned in that way," Gwyneth previously said, of their co-parenting arrangement. "And it's been hard, and you know, like, we've gone through really difficult times with it but we've always said these children are our priority.
"What that really means is, 'Even though today, you hate me and you never want to see me again, like, we're going to brunch, 'cause it's Sunday and that's what we'll do!' You know, like, 'That's what's happening!' Like, the children are our commitment."
Gwyneth isn't the only gushing mum to share a snap of her beloved daughter on Instagram recently. At the weekend, Kate Beckinsale uploaded a picture of her 18-year-old daughter Lily (below) on her prom night.
"You take my breath away @lily_beckinsale #prom you're funny and clever and gorgeous and just enough crazy to be my favourite person in world," the Underworld actress wrote. "My Fallopian tube is like BITE ME I KILLED THIS."
As with Gwyneth and Apple, Kate and Lily are absolute dead ringers for one another.
