Remember when the internet went into meltdown earlier this year because Gwyneth Paltrowshared a photo of her daughter Apple on Instagram? But Apple kicked off because she told her mum that she didn’t have permission to post it? Well, Gwyneth certainly didn’t risk the wrath of her daughter when wishing her a happy 15th birthday yesterday.
Along with a photo of Apple holding a pink rose in her mouth, and looking like her mum's mini-me, the Oscar winning actress hilariously included a photo of a text message conversation between her and Apple, where the teen sent her mother ‘options of Apple approved birthday posts.’
‘Oh why thank you,’ Paltrow quipped, teasing, ‘Don’t need to break the old Internet again, now do we?’ Apple replied, ‘Yeah let’s not.’
The caption on the cute post read, ‘Happy 15th birthday my angel @applemartin I will never be able to put into words how much I love you. You are so strong and so good and so damn funny and sooooo gorgeous inside and out. I am the proudest mama ever. Feliz quinceañera mi vida!’
And Brad Falchuk, who married Gwyneth in September 2018, also commented on the photo. He told his step-daughter, 'Happy, happy birthday. World’s best bonus daughter. ❤️' Gwyneth and Brad first met in 2010 when the actress starred in five episodes of Glee, which the 47-year-old Emmy winner produced.
