Don't worry, there’s no spoilers here – The Mother Of Dragons isn’t actually set to perform a bedding ceremony with ‘bastard’ Jon Snow (well, she might be – we haven't read the books so wouldn’t know), just a bit of loose speculation that actress Emilia Clarke has herself a crush on Game Of Thrones co-star Kit Harington. Well she’s only human, right?

Although the 27-year-old is dating a chap called Cory Michael Smith who she met on the set of Broadway play Breakfast At Tiffany’s, an insider reckons she’s been ‘developing feelings’ for her fellow Brit.

Talking to Star magazine, the source said, ‘Emilia has been telling friends that they would make a cute couple.’

The magazine goes on to report that Kit made it clear that the feeling is mutual, which has left the actress at a crossroads over who to choose. Apparently pals say that she has fallen hard for Kit, although she has doubts because the pair hardly ever see each other since they shoot in different countries.

The insider adds, ‘He’s usually in Iceland or Ireland, while she films in Morocco or Croatia… she’s very comfortable with Cory, but is completely enamoured by Kit. You can see that those two are on a collision course with romance.’

It was reported that Kit was seeing his other co-star Rose Leslie (Wildling Ygritte) last year, so it could be about to get more complicated than the actual plot (tip: never watch an episode after more than one glass of wine). Or maybe the whole thing is just the work of some enthusiastic fan fiction. Jon Snow has already broken his oath.

OR maybe it’s the other Jon Snow who Emilia's crushing on? Who doesn’t love the newsreader?
