Errrrr did Goldie just accidentally reveal who Banksy is? That awkward moment when you ‘out’ your friend. Oh Goldie.

During a chat with Scroobius Pip for his podcast, ‘Distraction Pieces,’ the DJ referred to Banksy as ‘Rob,’ claiming: “For something like graffiti, which has inspired the world with font or anything to do with anyone wearing a baseball cap and fucking sneakers, at its centre it is still misunderstood. But give me a bubble letter and put it on a t-shirt and with Bansky’ on it and we’re sorted…We can sell it now. No disrespect to Rob, I think he is a brilliant artist. I think he has flipped the world of art over.’

For those of you who aren’t aware (I wasn’t), a fan theory hinted at the possibility that Banksy could in fact be Robert Del Naja from Massive Attack. The theory goes on to suggest that the locations of Banksy’s art are significantly linked to Massive Attacks shows that happened in those cities at the same time. Banksy even wrote the introduction to the 2015 book, 3D & the Art of Massive Attack, and his work has featured on all of their record sleeves to this day. Coincidence? We think not.

And now with the added fuel to the fire that Goldie let slip, that Bansky’s name is, in-fact, Rob, we’re taking bets it’s Massive Attack’s leading man. Any takers?
