Plunging necklines and a monochrome palette was the order of the day at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in LA last night.

Lea Michele and Ruby Rose both chose white slash-neck outfits for their turn on the Beverly Hilton Hotel red carpet.

Michele chose a gorgeous Elie Saab sheer lace floor-length gown while Ruby Rose opted for her signature androgynous chic in a white jacket and trousers with a crop top underneath. (Puts down bacon sandwich and breathes in.)

Demi Lovato also tapped into the trend with a black buttoned waistcoat under a tuxedo cape.

Beauty crush Zendaya didn’t disappoint with her retro slick finger curls and statement smoky eye makeup.

Also on the red carpet was actress Kat Graham, who dressed top-to-toe in bronze (we’re lusting after that box clutch).

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift evaded the red carpet but surprised fans by appearing onstage to present Ruby Rose with her award.

Always one to go her own way, Swifty shunned the plunge-neck trend in favour of a thigh-split dress. We salute your fashion reversal, TayTay.
