She doesn’t mess around that Lena Dunham does she? Just a mere few weeks afterseason three of* Girls* finished airing on telly, she’s already off filming season four.

Last week we got a few pictures from the set that showed Jessa and Hannah doing the very exciting task of erm, walking down the street together in New York. So no clues about what we might be in for there then.

Today however, it’s been reported by Deadline that two new cast members have joined the show – supposedly as fellow writers on Hannah’s new writing course. The first is Desiree Akhaven – a film maker who’s recent film Appropriate Behaviour premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. It tells the story of an Iranian American girl struggling to be a good Persian daughter and a Brooklyn hipster while she recovers from the break-up of a lesbian relationship. Desiree’s previous work The Slope – a web show about a bunch of ‘superficial, homophobic lesbians’ living in Brooklyn has already picked her up some comparisons to Lena Dunham.

The other new cast member is apparently Peter Mark Kendall who so far is something of a mystery – although he does have a pretty intense headshot.

Don’t get too excited just yet though, the show’s not actually back on our screens until January 2015. ☹
