If you’ve already worked your way through 13 Reasons Why and made light work of The Crown, let us introduce your next Netflix obsession: Girlboss, a 13-part comedy drama series inspired by Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso’s best-selling autobiography, #Girlboss.

Starring Britt Robertson, the series follows Sophia as she builds her fashion empire, starting out by selling vintage clothes on eBay and ending up with a multi-million dollar brand at the age of 27.

On board as showrunner is Kay Cannon, who has previously worked on Pitch Perfect and 30 Rock, while actress Charlize Theron and Amoruso herself are amongst the show's executive producers.

All 13 episodes are set to arrive on Netflix on Friday 21st April, and with each running to around 30 minutes, we predict you'll have worked your way through it before the weekend's out (and there's certainly no shame in that...)

Before that, though, who better to explain exactly what makes a 'girlboss' than Britt Robertson, Kay Cannon and Sophia Amoruso? In the exclusive clip below, three of the talented and inspiring women involved in the series tell us how to channel the spirit of Girlboss. As Sophia puts it, being a 'girlboss' is all about 'feeling like you are happy in your own skin and living the life that you want to lead.' Amen.

Girlboss is on Netflix from April 21st
