With reports suggesting Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's baby is due any moment now, Mohamed Hadid, Gigi's father, has denied that his daughter has given birth after sharing a poem on Instagram to welcome his ‘little grandchild’.
The property developer has since deleted the post, which showed a handwritten poem titled ‘Grandpa’s Heart’.’Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be,’ he wrote in the poem. ‘I wish for you the sun and moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that grandpa’s always here, I’ll do anything, anything for you, my dear.’
One follower asked whether this meant Gigi had given birth, to which he replied: ‘no, not yet' - and then deleted the post altogether.
Gigi's sister Bella Hadid also got tongues wagging with her latest post.
Sharing a throwback snap of herself and Gigi from June, the pair can be seen holding their 'bumps' as the sun goes down in the background. And although Bella jokingly admitted her 'bun' was from a burger and not a baby, her caption really left fans thinking her sister has given birth.
Bella wrote, 'june 11, 2020 ...🖤two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and gigi’s is from @zayn ✨👼🏼✨ i love you both so freaking much -can'tstopcrying 🥺'. (sic)
Gigi was quick to comment on her sister's post, but she didn't confirm or deny if she's welcomed her first child just yet. She simply wrote, '😁😁😁😇'.
However, this didn't stop fans speculating! One user wrote, 'OMG has Gigi has her baby?', with another writing, 'Does this mean the baby has been born?!?!'.
Gigi first announced she was pregnant back in May during an appearance on The Jimmy Fallon Show, before showing off her baby bump for the first time in July. The Victoria's Secret model then delighted fans in August when she shared the most beautiful set of photos of herself from a stunning pregnancy photoshoot.
She wrote, 'cherishing this time. appreciate all the love & well wishes ♡ will never forget creating these special images with my friends @luigiandiango @gabriellak_j @erinparsonsmakeup thank you. I love you!'. (sic)
